CMS Fines New West Health Services For Second Time Of 2015
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) fined New West Health Services, a Medicare Advantage Plan which has 18,000 Medicare beneficiaries, $204,200 after it failed to correct previously cited Medicare violations. This is the second fine for the Helena, Montana-based nonprofit, after it was fined $349,800 in January, 2015, for falling out of compliance with several Medicare rules.
