Colorado Medicaid Launches Coverage For All, Regardless Of Immigration Status
On January 1, 2025, the Colorado Medicaid program began offering health coverage to children and pregnant people residents, regardless of immigration status. Those who meet income and household income eligibility requirements can enroll in Health First Colorado or Child Health Plans Plus (CHP+). The new coverage is due to House Bill 22-1289, known as “Cover All Coloradans,” which was signed on June 7, 2022.
