Colorado Rejects Giving Medical Marijuana Access To PTSD Patients

The Colorado Board of Health voted 6-2 not to add post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to the medical conditions that can be treated under the state's medical marijuana program. It would have made Colorado the 10th state to make PTSD a qualifying condition for medical pot. The Colorado Board of Health cited a lack of science supporting marijuana's medical efficacy in treating PTSD.

This was reported by The Denver Post on July 15, 2015.
