Colorado’s Parkview Offers Mental Health Help
Parkview Medical Center has opened a new site where families and individuals can seek help with mental health or substance abuse disorders. Those seeking help outside office hours may ask an ER professional to call a behavioral health evaluator who will come to the hospital to conduct an evaluation. Anyone in severe crisis or who also has a serious medical issue is advised to go to the emergency room first, even when the intake/assessment center is open. This was reported by The Pueblo Chieftain on March 2, 2014.
