Community Health Systems Completes $110 Million Sale Of Four Arkansas Hospitals To Freeman Health System

Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHS) completed the sale of Northwest Health, which includes four Arkansas hospitals and their associated outpatient centers and practices to Freeman Health System for $110 million. The facilities include the 128-bed Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville, the 222-bed Northwest Medical Center – Springdale, the 64-bed Northwest Medical Center – Willow Creek Women's Hospital in Johnson, and the 73-bed Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs.

The acquisition marks non-profit Freeman Health System’s first expansion into Arkansas. Northwest Health consumers will continue to have access to care and their same health care professionals . . .
