Community Health Systems To Sell North Carolina Hospital To Duke Health

Community Health Systems announced a definitive agreement to sell Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) to Duke Health for approximately $280 million. The transaction includes the 123-bed acute care hospital in Mooresville, North Carolina and related businesses. Closing is expected during the first quarter of 2025.

LNRMC includes 24-hour emergency care, labor and delivery services, cardiology, surgical and orthopedic care and outpatient imaging center. The medical center employees and community physicians will continue to provide care and play a key role within the new organization.
