Community Health Systems To Sell Ownership Interest In Cedar Park Regional Medical Center In Texas To Ascension Health

Subsidiaries of Community Health Systems, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to sell their 80% ownership interest in Cedar Park Regional Medical Center to subsidiaries of Ascension Health. The deal is valued at $460 million in cash. Subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, the transaction is expected to close late in the second quarter or early in the third quarter of 2025.
