Community Health Systems To Sell Two North Carolina Hospitals To Novant Health For $320 Million

Subsidiaries of Community Health Systems, Inc. signed a definitive agreement valued at $320 million to sell two hospitals in North Carolina to Novant Health. The deal includes 123-bed Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, an acute care hospital in Mooresville; and Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, which is in the process of transitioning from a general acute care hospital to an inpatient behavioral health hospital. The deal includes the hospitals and their associated assets. The transaction is slated to close later in 2023.
