Community Rehab Hospital Opens In Greenwood, Indiana

Louisville, Kentucky-based Kindred Healthcare LLC (Kindred) recently opened a new $6 million hospital—Community Rehabilitation Hospital South—in Greenwood, Indiana. The 44-bed hospital was created in partnership with Indianapolis-based Community Health Network.

The new hospital will be located on what was formerly the campus for Kindred Hospital – Indianapolis South (Indianapolis South), which closed last year. Of the 150 new jobs it expects to create, 86 have been offered to employees who were laid off with the closing of Indianapolis South.
