Connecticut-Based Wellmore Merges With The Village For Families & Children

Wellmore and The Village for Families & Children (The Village), which both provide behavioral health services in Connecticut, merged operations. They anticipate creating a more integrated behavioral health system. Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. Together, the two organizations employ nearly 1,000 staff members and serve 30,000 families across 100 Connecticut municipalities each year.

The Village’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hector Glynn is continuing in those roles. Wellmore’s President and CEO, Gary Steck, has become The Village’s Chief Impact Officer.
