County Opens Behavioral Health Crisis Center In Victorville
The county of San Bernardino recently opened the Desert Hill Crisis Residential Treatment center, a 16-bed facility that provides crisis services to individuals and their families. The facility, which officially opened its doors August 6, is one of five new centers across the county.
It is anticipated that the new centers will help meet a gap in crisis services throughout the San Bernardino community, as well as ease the burden on emergency rooms and Sheriff’s Deputies. Offered at the new facilities will be behavioral health services in a home-like setting that serve as a less costly alternative . . .
