Covenant Health Acquires West Texas ER

Covenant Health (Covenant) recently acquired West Texas ER, effective as of February 1. Texas ER is Lubbock’s first Freestanding Emergency Room.

According to statements from Covenant, the purchase will allow greater access to care for the community, allowing it to continue providing emergency care closer to neighboring areas. As part of the acquisition, West Texas ER locations will come under the Covenant Health Emergency Center name.
