Crystal Run Healthcare To End Its Health Plans
Crystal Run Healthcare (Crystal Run) recently announced it is seeking New York state approval to eliminate its health plans. The organization cited an Affordable Care Act (ACA) provision related to risk adjustment methodology for its decision.
Crystal Run’s insurance products currently serve more than 6,000 health care consumers, most of whom live in Orange and Sullivan counties. The organization has about 300,000-plus consumers it cares for, 2,700 employees, and more than 400 clinical professions in more than 50 different specialties.
