Cynthia Moir Hired To Serve Long-Term Care Residents By Area Agency On Aging
Cynthia Moir was named regional long-term care ombudsman of the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging (PTRC AAA) staff in February. Moir’s role includes being an advocate for the rights of older adults and other residents in long-term care facilities. She is responsible for investigating complaints and concerns that affect the quality of life for residents. She provides information for residents, family members, and the public on issues regarding the rights of residents in facilities.
