Dane County, Wisconsin, Launches Juvenile Justice Aftercare Program
Dane County, Wisconsin, launched the Assessment, Treatment, Transition and Aftercare (ATTA) Program, a pilot juvenile justice aftercare program. The ATTA pilot is designed to provide six months of intensive, community-based support for at-risk youth and minimize the need for placement in state correctional facilities.
ATTA emphasizes early intervention, accountability paired with care, and individualized support that keeps youth connected to their families, schools, and communities whenever possible. The six-month program integrates assessment, treatment, transition, and aftercare into a single continuum of care focused on rehabilitation and long-term stability.
Participants will be housed in a dedicated wing . . .
