Deval Patrick Joins Bain Capital

A leading global private investment firm, Bain Capital, appointed former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick to found a new unit that focuses on delivering financial returns by investing in projects with significant, measurable social impact. His title is Managing Director. He began his new role on April 14. Bain Capital manages about $75 billion in an array of businesses, including venture capital, hedge funds, and lending.
