DrFirst & Bizmatics Partner To Increase Medication Adherence  

Health technology provider DrFirst is partnering with clinical productivity software provider Bizmatics. Under the agreement, Bizmatics is integrating Dr First’s RxInform patient engagement solution into its PrognoCIS electronic health record (EHR) software. The integration will add automated consumer messaging to the e-prescribing workflow. The goal is to reduce prescription abandonment and improve medication adherence.

Prescribers using PrognoCIS EHR can now automatically trigger a secure message to consumers after an electronic prescription is sent to the pharmacy.
