Early Alzheimer’s Diagnostics LLC To Develop & Commercialize Saliva Test For Early & Preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease
Early Alzheimer’s Diagnostics LLC in Glenmont, New York was awarded a one-year National Science Foundation (NSF) grant totaling $274,713 for a project to develop saliva screening tests that can detect early and preclinical Alzheimer’s disease before the onset of cognitive symptoms. The funding, a NSF Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant, will be used to support a Phase I proof-of-concept study to advance the commercialization of a screening tool.
