Eclipse Senior Living Assumes Management Of Elmcroft Communities

Eclipse Senior Living recently assumed 76 Ventas-owned private-pay housing communities for seniors. The majority of the properties were previously leased by Elmcroft Senior Living.

The communities will continue to operate under Elmcroft’s name, despite being operated by Eclipse. The efforts will be led by Kai Hsiao, the former president and CEO of Holiday Retirement. As of current negotiations, Ventas has acquired a 34% ownership stake in Eclipse, with Eclipse’s management owning the remaining 77%. The two organizations’ seniors housing management platform currently cares for about 6,000 seniors.
