Elmington Opens Supportive Housing Community For Youth Transitioning From Foster Care In Knoxville, Tennessee

Lumen Flats Knoxville, a supportive housing development for young adults transitioning out of foster care, opened in Knoxville, Tennessee. The property was developed by Elmington, a Nashville-based real estate investment and development firm.

The development includes 19 studio apartments for residents ages 18 to 24. According to the organizations involved, 18 units are supported through Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) housing vouchers, with one unit designated for onsite management. Residents may remain in the program for up to 36 months.
