Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Of Irmo Now Open In South Carolina

Encompass Health, which owns and operates inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across the United States, opened Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo, in South Carolina. The 49-bed facility now accepting consumers.

The 53,000-square-foot freestanding hospital provides rehabilitation services for those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. Consumers receive a minimum of three hours of intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy five days per week, along with regular physician visits and 24-hour nursing care. An interdisciplinary team develops individualized treatment plans based on each individual's recovery goals.
