Ennis Center For Children Introduces Plan To Reduce Number Of Children In Foster Care In Genesee & Saginaw Counties

Ennis Center for Children introduced a new community-based care model, called Families and Children Together (FACT), to reduce the number of children in foster care in Genesee and Saginaw counties. FACT is intended to provide services to help prevent family involvement with the child welfare system. It provides food and housing assistance for at-risk families, and connects families to all available community resources including medical/behavioral provider organizations, education, and case management. Services are customized to meet the needs of the family where they are in their journey and evolves as they move through time in care.
