Fallon Health & Autism Care Partners Collaborate On Value-Based Care Model For Autism Diagnosis & Treatment

Massachusetts Medicaid health plan Fallon Health and its strategic partner, Autism Care Partners (ACP), are creating a new value-based care model for autism diagnosis and treatment that will also support Fallon Health's Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). The new model is intended to improve access by reducing barriers to diagnosis and treatment. It will leverage multi-specialty collaboration between the ACOs and ACP and facilitate enhanced wrap-around supports for children with autism. Further, the model will establish a set of value-based outcomes to measure the quality of care and will assess costs.
