The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a brain-computer interface, called the Layer 7 Cortical Interface, developed by Precision Neuroscience Corporation (Precision). The device is a high-resolution cortical electrode array that records, monitors, and stimulates electrical activity on the surface of the brain.
