FDA Approves Use Of Freespira Respiratory Coaching Program For Adolescents With Anxiety, Panic & PTSD
Freespira, Inc., which developed and markets a digital health treatment that provides respiratory coaching for home treatment for anxiety disorders, received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market the program to adolescents ages 13 to 17. The FDA had previously approved the treatment for use by adults. The 28-day prescription digital health treatment addresses the respiratory dysfunction considered a root cause of panic attacks and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
