Feds Release Draft Strategic Plan For Electronic Health Information, Focused On Health Equity & AI  

The U.S. Office for the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently released a draft of a five-year strategic plan outlining federal health technology priorities. The plan is focused on health equity and artificial intelligence (AI).

It describes goals and objectives for improving health experiences and outcomes for individuals, populations, and communities. It also outlines how to use health information technology to enhance and improve health equity, advance scientific discovery and innovation, and modernize national public health infrastructure.
