Five Crisis Stabilization Facilities Now Open Across Wisconsin
Five crisis stabilization centers are now open in Wisconsin, to aid individuals experiencing mental health and substance use emergencies. The facilities are funded by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS).;
In 2021, DHS set aside $10 million to support the development the facilities using part of Wisconsin's share of American Rescue Plan Act funds reserved for mental health and addiction treatment services.
