Florida Medicaid Awards I/DD Managed Care Pilot Contract To Florida Community Care

The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) intends to award a six-year contract to Florida Community Care, LLC, to pilot a managed care plan for people with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD). The pilot is slated to launch during 2024 and run through September 30, 2030. Through the pilot, 600 beneficiaries with I/DD will receive comprehensive medical, long-term care and home- and community-based services (HCBS) waiver services.
