Michael Crews is stepping down as head of the Florida Department of Corrections, effective November 30, 2014. After announcing a crusade to restore the integrity of the agency, Mr. Crews faced scrutiny over abusive corrections officers, suspicious deaths and cut-rate private healthcare contractors.
