Florida To Expand Managed Care For I/DD Statewide & Increase Enrollment Capacity With Waiver Amendment 

The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is accepting public comments through July 31 on its planned amendment to its Comprehensive Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Managed Care (IDD Pilot) Waiver. The agency describes the waiver as a voluntary, comprehensive program consisting of Managed Medical Assistance (MMA) services, Long-Term Care (LTC) Waiver services, and Florida Developmental Disabilities Individual Budgeting (iBudget) Waiver services. The pilot currently operates in Region D, which includes Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, and Highlands counties; and Region I, which encompasses Miami-Dade and Monroe County. It runs through September 30, 2030.
