For-Profit Hudson Regional Hospital & Non-Profit CarePoint Health System Sign Letter Of Intent To Form Hudson Health System

Hudson Regional Hospital and non-profit CarePoint Health System signed a letter of intent to merge to form Hudson Health System, a new regional management company that will incorporate the non-profit and for-profit acute care facilities of both entities. Hudson Health System will have four hospitals: Hudson Regional Hospital plus CarePoint’s three hospitals: Bayonne Medical Center, Hoboken University Medical Center, and Christ Hospital in Jersey City. The system will continue to be in-network with all major insurance carriers.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval from the state. Financial terms of this arrangement were not disclosed . . .
