FORE Awards $2.1 Million To Four Organizations To Address Barriers To Effective Treatment & Recovery
The Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE) awarded $2.1 million to four organizations with programs to reduce systemic barriers to effective addiction treatment and recovery. These barriers include workforce shortages and the end of programs tailored to the needs of people at the highest risk of overdose.
The grants support efforts to expand and sustain peer support networks and culturally grounded treatment models. They also advance approaches to workforce development and training. Grants were awarded to:
