Four County Counseling Services Starts Opioid Treatment Program
Four Country Counseling Center (Four County) recently began offering treatment for those battling opioid addiction. The medication assisted treatment (MAT) program primarily uses Vivitrol—an injected drug that blocks cravings—to treat individuals.
In addition to MAT, the center also offers counseling services and assistance with job searching for those who need it. Vivitrol injections are given every four weeks, while counseling occurs on at least a weekly basis.
