Frank Berry To Head Georgia Department Of Community Health

Governor Nathan Deal has appointed Frank Berry as commissioner of the state Department of Community Health (DCH) with the effective start date of December 1. Berry has headed the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities for the last four years. Before that, he was chief executive officer of View Point Health, one of Georgia’s largest community service boards. To fill the vacancy being left by Berry, the governor named Judy Fitzgerald commissioner of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, where she currently serves as chief of staff.
