Function Acquires Getlabs, Bringing Health Care Directly To The Consumer

Function Health acquired Getlabs, a mobile health care platform that dispatches licensed specialists to a consumer's location for blood draws and other services. The acquisition is intended to expand at-home and on-site health care delivery within Function's existing offerings. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Through the acquisition, Function members will have the option to schedule blood draws at home, at the office, or another location of their choosing, in addition to visiting any of the 2,000-plus Quest Diagnostics locations currently available.
