Gallia County Intermediate Care Facility For I/DD To Close

The Gallia Board of Developmental Disabilities (GCBDD) recently announced that Middleton Estates, a 33-bed intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) owned by ResCare will be closing. The board also stated it will be purchasing new homes in Gallia in order to support consumer needs.

Additionally, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities issued suspension of admissions and proposed revocation of licensing notices for the following ResCare facilities: 1818 Sullivant Avenue, 1834 Sullivant Avenue, Canterbury Villa, Middleton Estates, The ResCare/Putnam Home, The ResCare/Ottawa Home, Karl Road, and Lesh-Millvale.
