Geisinger Hires Huntington F. Willard To Direct New National Precision Medicine Program

Geisinger Health System (Geisinger) recently announced plans to launch a new program, the National Precision Medicine Initiative. The program will be based out of the District of Columbia, and will include partnerships that will help Geisinger grow its precision medicine program nationally.

Chosen by Geisinger to lead the initiative is genomics researcher Huntington F. Williard, Ph.D., who will be joining the organization in January. Genomics is an interdisciplinary field of science within the field of molecular biology.
