Geneva Woods Acquires Portico’s Long-Term Care Pharmacy Business

Geneva Woods Pharmacy, Inc. (GWP), a leading provider of integrated long-term care (LTC) and home pharmacy services in underserved rural markets, announced the acquisition of the LTC pharmacy assets of Meridian, Idaho-based Portico pharmacy. With this acquisition, GWP expands its operations and client-care model to Boise and the rest of Treasure Valley. GWP’s integrated pharmacy services model serves thousands of patients across Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. In addition, GWP extends its Transitional Pharmacy model of care to the residents of Idaho. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
