Gold Coast Health Plan Awards More Than $2 Million In Grants To Provider Organizations & Community Organizations To Help Medi-Cal Members Navigate Changes

California's Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) announced seven recipients of its 2026 Resilience, Innovation, Sustainability and Equity (RISE) Grant Program. The one-year grants total $2,087,811 and support providers and community organizations serving Medi-Cal members as federal changes to coverage requirements take effect.

The program supports efforts to expand access to physical and behavioral health care for Medi-Cal members in Ventura County. Through the 2026 grants, GCHP is partnering with provider organizations and community organizations to help members understand and meet new Medicaid eligibility, work, and community engagement requirements scheduled to begin in 2027.
