Governor-Elect Murphy Hires Two National Experts For New Human Services & Child Welfare Jobs
Governor-elect Phil Murphy of New Jersey recently appointed two individuals to lead the state’s human services and child welfare agencies. Carole Johnson will lead the Department of Human Services, and Christine Norbut Beyer will lead the Department of Children and Families.
Previously, Ms. Johnson served under President Obama as a senior policy director, working on projects such as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, mental health and substance abuse services, and other programs. Ms. Beyer previously led the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services and worked as a senior director for Casey Family Programs.
