Grapefruit Health Targets New Method To Address Health Workforce Shortage
Grapefruit Health recently worked with Tennessee’s Ballad Health in an innovative method to improve communication related to medication adherence. Grapefruit's platform is designed to have college students in clinical programs to assist with essential telehealth services.;
In the pilot program, Grapefruit quickly recruited, trained, onboarded and managed a workforce of 13 pharmacy students from Johnson City, Tennessee. Those pharmacy student workers then contacted more than 1,000 Ballad Health participants over a 10-week period.
