Administrators with the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities announced that the Walter B. Jones Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center in Greenville, North Carolina, withdrew from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In a move to maintain patient care for people suffering with substance abuse and mental health issues, the substance abuse center that treats residents in 38 counties says they'll no longer accept Medicare or Medicaid reimbursements.
