Habitat For Humanity In Ontario, Canada, Breaks Ground On Accessible Affordable Housing For Women With Developmental Disabilities
On July 9, 2025, Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region (Habitat PKR), in partnership with Our Daughter’s Home, broke ground on an accessible duplex in Peterborough’s East City, in Ontario, Canada, according to a press release. Construction is scheduled to begin during the summer of 2025. The home will provide permanent housing and 24/7 on-site support for seven women with developmental disabilities.
