Hackensack Meridian Health Acquires JFK Health
Hackensack Meridian Health (Hacksensack) recently acquired JFK Health. Additionally, Hackensack will invest $12 million into the cardiac catheterization lab at JFK Medical Center, adding a treatment suite to it.
The acquisition will add to Hackensack’s system, bringing in its 16th hospital. JFK Health also includes other facilities, such as inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation centers and JFK’s Neuroscience Institute. According to statements from Hackensack, the purchase makes the system the largest in the state of New Jersey.
