Hawaii Department Of Health Receives $4 Million Federal Grant For Young Children’s Mental Health
Hawaii’s State Department of Health (DOH) will receive $800,000 per year, for five years – totaling $4 million – under a grant to support young children’s mental wellness from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The funds are through the federal Project Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health, which aims to promote the wellness of young children up to age eight by addressing their physical and mental health needs.;
