HCA Completes $1.5 Billion Acquisition Of Mission Health

Nashville, Tennessee-based HCA Healthcare (HCA) recently completed its acquisition of Mission Health (Mission). The organizations originally announced pursuing the transaction last March.

Mission Health System, Inc. previously operated as a non-profit community hospital system in western North Carolina and the adjoining region. According to HCA Healthcare’s website, which maps out care locations, Mission Health serves as the system’s only health care facilities in North Carolina, operating six hospitals.
