Housing Complex For Adults With Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Opens In Broomfield, Colorado
The Broomfield Housing Alliance opened the Grove at Cottonwood, a housing complex for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Broomfield, Colorado. It is the first such complex in Broomfield. The Gove at Cottonwood can house up to 40 residents in units designed for independent living.
The building was funded through the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and is income-restricted to people earning 30% to 60% of the area median income. In Broomfield, that range is $30,240 to $60,480 for a one-person household.
