Humana Acquires Family Physicians Group In Central Florida

Humana Inc. (Humana) recently announced the completion of its acquisition of Orlando-based Family Physicians Group (FPG), effective as of April 10. FPG is one of the largest at-risk provider organizations serving Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid HMO consumers in the central Florida area, with 22 clinics throughout the area. The financial terms of the purchase have not been disclosed.
