Huron Healthcare Names New Managing Director

Chicago-based Huron Consulting Group appointed Joseph Mauro as its managing director. Mauro’s role will focus on helping physicians and hospitals transition from fee-for-service care to value-based delivery systems. Prior to this job, Mauro worked in the healthcare business of German conglomerate Siemens for the past 30 years, serving most recently as national director of strategic accounts, after serving as vice president of sales and vice president of strategic accounts.
