Idaho Company Creates App For Diagnosing Autism
Behavior Imaging in Idaho created an app that can help diagnose children who have autism. The app, called Naturalistic Observation Diagnostic Assessment (NODA), can provide a diagnosis in just a few weeks instead of the traditional process, which can take months or years. After the app is downloaded for free, one of four scenarios is available including “family meal time,” “play with others,” “parent concerns,” and “play alone.” After ten minute videos are taken, parents can send the videos to clinicians for further analysis.
